cry me out;
i got braces yesterday! yes! they're bright green and nice but they hurt like s*%$. yeah./ can't even eat nice food anymore. the most i can swallow (literally) is macaroni (after being boiled for 30 mins). so for breakfast, i can't eat bread anymore. or coco crunch. or honey stars. i have to eat this weird oat cereal thing that becomes soft and mushy after soaking it in milk for 10 mins. D:
and it tastes like NOTHING at all. you have to add tonnes of sugar to make it even remotely sweet. gah. but it's ok i think i will get over it after a day or two. i hope.
stupid orthodontist cut my lip accidentally though. now i have an ulcer/
BTW KOO! i watched coraline and it was far from scary. you should go watch it too! :)

school ends;
school has ended officially for us. whoa. the year has been a blast, hasn't it? and i realised that i will really miss 213 (no matter what happened within the 2 years). it's probably cos they helped me adjust to sec school life. as in, without the class, i will be a lousy sec two walking around school aimlessly without friends. so thanks guys, for everything! that includes the good times and the bad times and everything else in between. xD even though we may not have the same subject combination or the same class or recess and lunch blocks next year, i hope we still keep in touch! and remain friends. at least for another year or so la. xD (cos we all know how people drift apart after some time)
and to all the east-liners (eg. akoo, cass, xiaohan, leti, esther, aileen, lisa, etc) - we can still go home together on some days! xD just like how i always go home with different people everyday - sometimes its weiyi, sometimes its aileen and cass or xiaohan and lisa or leti and aileen or....you get the idea.

the last week of school was entertaining. we sang wannabe by spice girls for karaoke. it was really funny because it was kinda....fail. hhahahas. but we had fun during prep! and on wed, lisa, akoo, xiaohan and i went to party world/ktv after school to SING. yes, sing. the room they gave us looked like some sleazy motel room, what with the red lighting and the dimly lit area around the sofa. hahahas. but we had alot of fun choosing chinese and english songs to sing. (personally, it was only fun because we ALL sang really badly and none of us could reach the high notes.) hahhas. lisa and i kept picking english songs and xiaohan (with her JAY CHOU obsession) and akoo kept picking random chinese songs. xD 4 hours wasn't as long as it felt, eh? :)
THURSDAY and FRIDAY were acp days, but i literally spent the whole day in the kitchen on thurs. 'cos i was in production team and all we did was cook, eat, cook some more then cleanup. i'm officially sick of sweet foods now, esp. cookies and muffins and honey stars. D:
but friday was cooler cos we got to go to other classes and eat free food! yeah. i love pizza and sausages. and prata. heheh.
okok i should rush SMP now. the proposal is due on MONDAY but i haven't began.

tooth extraction (I)
didn't blog for the past few days 'cos i've been lugging myself around (to school and back) and i can't be bothered to recount the days' events. in any case, we did alot of ACP preparations, had trainings, netball carn on monday and olympic day on thursday.
netball carn was really fun! as in, we played our best (which turned out to be pretty good) but we didn't win top 3! at least our banner won something though (thanks to leen!). hahahas but the experience was totally worth it - it helped bond our class..i guess.
then tuesday was training.
wednesday was some insignificant boring day.
thursday was olympic day! yes, we could do one sport and one art thing. so i did tile painting and shooting, basketball and netball. went around with sandra for the whole thing - SANDRA day - and i found shooting super cool. the shooting-girl taught me how to load the rifle and all and i could shoot! not bulls-eye or anywhere near the target but still, they were ALL ON THE CARD. hah.
then we had training. it became indoor physicals though, due to the stupid lightning alert. dang, if we hadn't installed it, i wouldn't hurt so much today. so coach hassan wanted to train our fitness, specifically with regards to our legs. that's why i hurt today - even my ass and shoulders hurt. D: wth man. oh and i went home dead tired and wondering how i would pass my RA test today. speaking of which, the biology paper was really difficult. but it was on par with the chemistry one so yeah, RA is challenging. i doubt i'll get in but i just tried. no harm trying, i guess. after the tests, my legs felt really numb after sitting in the same position for an hour. so i couldn't get up at first but after awhile, i could. xD oh and before that we had a performance by loose cannon. it was very funny and amusing, what with the flying beavers and the emperor with no clothes and who died skiing. and the shakespeare quotes - clench your butt, fancy gestures, princely prance and moodswings from sad to loony, sad to loony. hahahhas. it was possibly the best post-exam activity yet.
then my parents picked me up to get my wisdom tooth extracted. it hurt. especially the injection and the stitching back of the gum. but it was really numb and the doctor put on the radio throughout the whole thing so it was...rather relaxing. (if you find the song "don't cha" relaxing, that is). truth is, i was waiting for the whole thing to be over just to unclench my jaw. they sort of jacked it open with this clamp (reminded me of how they changed tyres) and left it there for the whole one hour. and i remembered them spraying some gas and water and drilling my tooth and scraping something out and pulling and pulling and pulling. cass was right - it was like they were ba2-luo2-bo2-ing .in the end, i took a piece of my gum home (it's pink, squishy and has water in it) and the dentist promised to piece my tooth back together for me. i shall post some pictures of the gum thing soon (before it decomposes).
and about the halloween party, i doubt i'll be able to go, talk less of sleepover. D:
i am very sad.
mom says that sleeping over = i have to bring my entire array of medicines over = no go.

pizza hut fun!
today was pretty cool. not school, but AFTER. heheheh.
we went for our batch lunch at pizza hut at PS. (i had coupons!) so we stood at the doorway and waited "to be seated". but maegan just said 'excuse me' really loudly and i don't know what got into steph and i but we just laughed. hahahs. then we were wondering what to order so sandra and steph got student meals while maegan and i shared the new pizza (the family ones with twisted fingers as the crust. with nachos and cheese dips) yeah. so we were waiting for the food and maegan dropped her fork. then this waitress gave her a new one immediately.
-in the survey form, we wrote EXCELLENT for attention from waitors-
then we were trying to eat formally (as in the dining etiquette thing we went for) but we failed terribly 'cos of the pizza and how everyone loves double-dipping in cheese. being cheapo, we also shared drinks 'cos it's freeflow for the student meal.
the funny part happened when sandra began hiccupping. hahahas. steph just laughed and then maegan and i joined in too. then we wanted to ask for the bill so maegan suggested raising our hands and doing the random doodling sign in the end. didn't work though, they totally dao-ed us. but when the bill EVENTUALLY came, sandra was fascinated with the black book-thing. it had this magnetic strip that clipped the receipt to the book right? then she decided to prank the waitress and she folded the $50 bill and clipped it underneath, so the waitress can't see that we have paid. then we returned the book (closed) to the waitress. hahahas. she walked away, but when she opened it, you could see her face looking so shocked! EPIC. she gestured to us and pointed at the book, with a "you guys haven't paid yet?!" look on her face. mwahahahas. i burst into a fit of laughter then. i don't know why but it seemed really hilarious at the time. so did maegan. we were tearing and having stomach cramps from laughing. xD oh yeah, so we gestured back and told her to open the clip. then she saw the $50 bill. and she stared. then she SMILED. my gosh, luckily she smiled man. if she was angry, we would be in deep shit. heh. that incident was epic. oh so since it was about 3 already, we all rushed back to school for training!
today's training was surprisingly FUN (nice weather, nice coach) and we only had to do abit of physicals at the end! and we got to play alot! LITTLE DRILLS <333
i bet it's 'cos he's warming us up....ahh but it's still good. he's nice enough! :)
i ache from tuesday's training though. MY LEFT ARM! D:

noetic science and masons;
i've been reading the lost symbol by dan brown. it's scary, at some parts. oh but thriller = <3
my dentist is so weird. first he said the appointment was this wed (today). then he said it's this friday. then last i heard, it's going to be on next monday (netball carn day). whatever la. just get the agony over and done with man! he is so weird. D:
i am happy about my eya marks. they pretty much pulled up my midyears and other SA marks :) i never knew my lit would be pass-able, but i did pass! as well as chinese! though the compo was like shdifi5t. never mind.
i am going to eat at saybons one day.
cheese and mushroom crepes.
plus my date at botak jones with aileen!
ahhh sorry guys for not being able to join netball carn! all the best, ok?
hmmm. there's training tomorrow! but yesterday's was tiring. exhausting. 'cos only maegan, archana and i turned up so coach drilled us on and on and on and on....till about 5.15pm. luckily he released us early, skipping the physicals. but i lost my red-blue dampener. D: i shall go find it tomorrow! btw, my arms are aching terribly - sure sign of being unfit. ahhhh.

to post or not to post?
i was sitting around fiddling with my camera again when i flipped through the recent snapshots i had taken. i realised i had more pictures of animals and plants than HUMANS. that was a revelation for me. i thought i would have more humans in my camera but noooo, most of the shots were of starfishes, sea cucumbers, clams, gastropods and the likes.
so i rethought the possibility of setting up a nature blog.
should i?
or should i convert this horribly uninteresting and dull blog into a nature blog?
oh
no
i have to think.
